Shipping Lanes from Pro Fulfill's 3-Warehouse Network
Zone number is the single biggest lever on parcel cost. A 3 lb package moves from zone 2 to zone 8 in cost by roughly 2x — and transit time doubles alongside it. Most 3PLs give you one origin and call it a network. We give you three geographically separated nodes so your inventory can actually be close to your buyers.
The table below is our working zone map: 150 state-level lanes across Pomona CA, Savannah GA, and Edison NJ. These are carrier approximations at the state level, not ZIP-precise tables — real zone assignment happens at the ZIP+4 level inside our WMS. But for planning purposes, the state-level zone tells you enough to decide where your inventory belongs.
I run into a consistent pattern with clients who ship heavy to Texas and Florida: they're sitting all their inventory in Los Angeles and wondering why their east-coast surcharges are high. The fix isn't a better carrier — it's a second node in the Southeast. Pick a lane below and see the math for your specific destination.
